I did find the hotel to be a little expensive, maybe if the amenity fee was not tacked on it would not be as bad, but then when looking for places seems all the hotels, even AirBnB's were expensive if you wanted anything in the downtown/attraction area.įamily and I flew into Seattle for an Alaska cruise but we were a day ahead of the schedule departure so we used the free day to explore. If you have a car or don't mind Uber, I recommend visiting other neighborhoods such as Ballard and Fremont, so many great restaurants and bars and not all the tourists. Popcorn and coffee in the room were nice additions. The new bar area opened up the Saturday before we left, unfortunately we did not get to take advantage of it but it looked really nice. Shuttle makes it really easy to visit the Aquarium, Pike Place Market, etc. Walking distance (minutes) to the Space Needle, Chihuly, MoPOP, and other attractions.
